Hi, I’m Curtis Stinnett
I was born and raised in Oklahoma. I grew up south of Oklahoma City in Lindsay, OK. I was raised by family that all worked in the oil field.
I received my Doctor of Pharmacy in Weatherford at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
After living briefly in Kentucky I moved to Ardmore where I practiced in retail/community pharmacy all across the southern half of the state.
I moved to Tulsa in 2019 and have continued my work serving folks in Green Country.
My time in healthcare has impressed the urgent need to improve the access to care to our neighbors and treat them with compassion and empathy.
Seeing my neighbors be taken advantage of has never sat well with me. Cruelty is not something I can abide. The time of setting back and waiting for someone else to step in has come to a close.
My Approach
I believe that the guiding principle of our founding documents is to ensure the rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. Everything about how we should treat our neighbors flows from that maxim.
Simple ideas
We have not been this politically divided in my living memory. But that does not mean that we can’t find common ground with each other
Lasting impact
One of the most frustrating aspects of how our representatives have governed has been how short sighted they are. We need to be looking 20 to 50 years down the road even as we remain responsive to the problems we face today.
