The new ERA

Until we guarantee equal rights by law, we do not have equal rights.

First proposed in 1923 and passed by Congress in 1972, the Equal Rights Ammendment was then sent to the states for ratification.

In 2020 the required 38th state ratified the measure. This came after several moved and missed deadlines. Now is the time to move forward passing the measure through Congress again and have the states ratify Equal rights before the law, regardless of sex.
